Title:  The introduction of "Apollo Spacecraft News Reference"

概略：日本工業英語協会が提唱する“３C（= write clearly, correctly and concisely）”の例としてアポロ計画時に宇宙船メーカーが報道機関向けに発行した“Apollo Spacecraft News Reference”を紹介する。

Abstract: I introduce “Apollo Spacecraft News Reference”, issued by American spacecraft makers for news organizations during the Apollo program, as an example of “the theory of 3C: write clearly, correctly and concisely”, which Japan Society of Technical Communication proposes to the examinees of English Technical Writing Test.

タイトル：医療系単科大学（診療放射線技師養成教育）におけるキャリア育成と英語学習の展望 ―授業「総合研究」紹介と、その研究成果から見えてくる医療系分野の国際化―
Title: Career development and English learning for future radiographers ― through introducing one student-oriented course―

概略：学生が担当教員と相談しながら研究テーマを決め、研究計画を立てながら学生主体で論文に至るまでの研究プロセスを体得する科目を紹介する。担当教員が英語専門である為に、研究テーマは医療関連事項と英語が関わるような内容となる。今回は、診療放射線技師と放射線技術学専攻の大学生に実施された英語学習に対する意識調査から得られた結果を報告する。

Abstract: In this presentation, I would like to give a short summary of a student-oriented course where they practically learn the research process from selecting a topic to writing a paper in Japanese. The research topic should be something related to both medical issues and the English language. Furthermore, presented here are some data about various perspectives on learning English, collected by questionnaires to radiographers and college students who are majoring in radiological technology.
